2004 Petit
Verdot
Rich spice, violets, plum and mulberry combine to
hint at the power and depth of this unique wine.
The palate offers layers of flavours ranging from
plum and spice to licorice and warm spiced oak.
This wine shows a velvet mouth feel and smooth fine
grained tannins, which belie a deceptively full weighted structure. This
wine shows exceptional depth and length of flavour.
Petit Verdot will partner with game birds and rich
northern Italian cuisine.
Alternatively it makes a fine accompaniment to
braised venison with baked figs and fresh baby vegetables.
